Hazel & Ohana’s Kai’s Puppies have arrived and are growing chunkier every day. These Puppies are either wavy or curly coat and we will have Embark panels soon to provide families with a full genetic breakdown of each puppy. Hazel has brought her genes that give the cutest squishy golden retriever face to another gorgeous litter! Hazel produces amazing human focused and calm temperaments. These puppies will be eager to learn and please but we will also provide a temperament breakdown while matching families with their next family companion.
Size; We are estimating a range of sizes in this litter these will be updated when Embarks arrive, currently we are estimating size from birth weight, parents weights and growth rate. Sire is 12 pounds and Mother is 60 pounds.
Health; Parents are both GANA Gold Badge which means they meet the highest requirements of testing and scores for a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. Sire is a Mini Poodle and one reason we chose him was the fact that he is clear of genetic mutations that most mini dogs carry. These gain of function genes are genes that we have decided to avoid in our crosses. We believe in careful selection to do our best in providing a healthy life for every puppy we create.
Coat: Coat testing will be included in Embarks, this helps families that have specific allergies to dog dander. Hypoallergenic is a term used for coats that we strive to create. This means that the dogs are less likely to cause allergies because genetically they will not shed like high or moderate shedding breeds and crosses. No one can promise a zero shedding dog or non-allergenic dog but we do perform genetic testing on every puppy to help families pick a puppy that will fit allergy friendly needs.
Price for Pet Homes will range from $2,000.00 - $2,500.00 :We apply a discount if puppies have genetics that have a chance of light shedding.
