Bearded Retrievers
Bearded Retrievers are a mix of Labrador, Golden Retriever and Poodle. Unlike some double doodles these are the we see the similarities in temperament in Lab & Golden both being bred for a similar purpose and structure so a 3 breed mix that is very complimentary to all temperaments. We have a true love for the Labradoodle and The Goldendoodle and we have had a long time vision of this pairing.
The Bearded Retriever name comes from a club formed a few years ago and instead of the double doodle it was to represent fully health, genetic and temperament tested parents to produce healthy offspring. Temperament testing is a key element in our program. We do not believe every cute dog should be bred but instead only dogs that have checked all of our boxes of health, structure and temperament. Birdie and Kai have done this with ease! Both loyal and amazing companions, trainable, human focused, high touch tolerance, no resource guarding, excellent recall, no skittish behavior. To add both of these amazing companions love water retrieval, have no noise or gun shy jumps, Kai has overhead awareness as well.
Not only can these puppies be a family companion perfect for children, a young couple or a single person, but also I can see so much potential for a companion that will be up for any activity or sport. Both parents also have amazing health testing with full OFAs & Fabulous Pennhip Scores. Dreamy Coats are a big plus in this litter with Hypoallergenic coats & easy to maintain curl or straight coats.
